Črna-bela+poljubna barva / Black-white+one

No pa sem končno malo prišla k sebi. Dopustovala sem v Berlinu in en teden je čisto premalo, da bi si ogledal vse čare, ki ga to čudovito mesto ponuja. Seveda je sledilo še pranje perila, vmes sem imela še "test" za službo (ja prav ste slišali test!) in pa seveda še vsemogoče družinske in gospodinjske stvari za urediti. Slike z dopusta še urejam, tako da bodo sledile v kakšni kasnejši objavi (ne zamudite, saj sem obiskala tudi nekaj ustvarjalnih trgovinic). Seveda sem najbolj od vsega pogrešala moj ustvarjalni kotiček, zato sem se takoj ko sem prišla domov zpodila vanj in začela ustvarjati.

Tokratni izziv pri Saturated Canary je črno-belo-poljubna barva. Izbrala sem si črno-belo-roza kombinacijo in uporabila Kristin podarjni digi odtisek z imenom Jules. Pobarvala sem jo z barvicami in mineralnim špiritom. Ne vem zakaj, ampak tale tehnika mi še vedno najbolj ustreza. Uporabila sem še robno štanco in dodala mašnjico ter nanjo pritrdila srček, dodala še napis, ki sem ga prevlekla z glossy accents in seveda se nisem morala upreti, da ne bi prevlekla njeno veliko mašnjo s Sticklesi ... in nastalo je tole ...

Well I finally got myself together. For the past week I was spending my vocation in Berlin and I tell you, only a week is not enough to explore all the charms that this beautiful city has to offer. And of course when I got home I had to do a ton of laundry and yesterday I took a "test" for a job (yes you heard right a test!), what will they think up next?! And, of course, this was followed by all the family and household stuff to take care off. I will treat you with some pictures from my holiday, they will be published in one of this week’s posts I hope (don’t miss it, because I also visited some of the craft shops there and boy they are awesome). And most of all I missed my crafty desk, so as soon as we got back I had to start creating.

The current challenge at Saturated Canary is black-white+one. I chose black-white -pink combination and used Krista’s freebie named Jules. Isn’t she gorgeous? I colored her with pencils and mineral spirit. I don’t know why, but this technique is still my favorite. I have used the edge punch to create a lace, added a bow to which I attached a pearl heart, added a sentiment “happy birthday”, which I covered with glossy accents and of course I couldn’t resist to add some Stickles to her gorgeous big bow …. and this is what it came out ...
